Blakely Evans is about to turn 30 and is seeing that her life is not going in the direction she envisioned for her future. Her ex threw her under the bus and made her look really bad in the media and now she can’t see finding herself a good man to make a family with – her greatest desire.  To cheer her up, her best friend (who also happens to be her brother’s girlfriend) takes her to Vegas to celebrate the milestone birthday. She’s also mad at Blakely’s brother, so shenanigans might ensue. When her brother shows up in Vegas, with his best friend in tow, things get more interesting.

Renn is the bad boy of rugby. Rich boy, recently relocated back to the US after a sting in Australia, he has to behave. He has a “good boy” clause in his contract and his behavior is supposed to be squeaky clean or else. Celebrating his best friend’s little sister’s birthday, getting sloshed to oblivion, and ending hitched to Blakely (who, dear heavens, is the woman of his dreams) can be considered good behavior, right? Sorta? Maybe?

Oh, this was sweet and funny and hit all the feels. As in all Adriana’s books, humor is present, even in the worst situations. We can tell from the start that these two were meant to be together and that it was inevitable. All it took was a nudge from the Universe (with the help of tequila!).

It’s funny, low angst, steamy and leaves you craving for the stories of all the Brewer siblings!

Ah, and if you are a fan of the Carmichaels, one of them makes and appearance and you learn something about him that has been puzzling the family! I won’t tell! “NDA.” 😉

Lovely take on the Vegas wedding meets It’s Always Been You.

Thanks, Adriana and Valentine PR for allowing me to read this story before its release.
