When Dr. Dax Cove gets a phone call from the US, the last thing he was expecting was to be asked to sign adoption papers for a daughter he didn’t know he had. The baby had just been born and the mother needs him to relinquish his rights. Well, not happening! He hops on a jet with brothers in tow and, 42 hours later, he’s the shell-shocked, clueless father of Baby Guinevere. He never wanted to be a father but he thinks it’s his duty to provide for her. He will hire an army of nannies if need be and everything will be the same. Talk about clueless! The process of getting the “perfect nanny” is far from smooth. Eira Cadogan is sent by the agency but he thinks she’s too young. The Universe decides to solve his problem for him when Eira saves the date in a scary incident a few days later and he ends up hiring her. 

Eira is a little hesitant to take the job. After all, she is very attracted to the clueless new dad. The money is good and she’s supporting her siblings and Baby Guinevere is adorable to boot.

Well, we all know where this is going, right?

This was a lovely story! I love a single dad romance, specially when they are as clueless and “incompetent” as Dr. Dax Cove, genius scientist. It was sweet to see him fall in love with Baby Guinevere. And the man who didn`t believe in love showed his love language through the most beautiful acts of service. He fumbles through fatherhood and romance but it’s kinda cute. Eira is that woman you want as a friend: caring, loving and loyal. So nice to see them become a family!

Bonus: we reunite with all the Coves. 

Narration: Eira is voiced by the (insert ALL the amazing adjectives here) Zara Hampton-Brown and Shane East is kind of adorable as Dax.
