Author: Natasha Madison

Narrators: Savannah Peachwood and Gregory Salinas

One fateful weekend changed the lives of six people. Two of these people are Charlie and Autumn. On a terrible turn of events, a car accident takes the life of Charlie’s girlfriend and Autumn’s best friend. Autumn’s boyfriend is at the wheel and the consequence of this accident will turn her into the town pariah. Charlie can’t stand the sight of her, the whole town shuns her and she sees no way other than leaving.

Eight years pass and bad news from home have Autumn packing her bags and going back. She knows she won’t be welcomed but never in her wildest dreams would she ever think things would turn they way they did…

Oh my! From the first chapter I could tell that this was going to break my heart. Natasha takes us on a wild ride of unexpected events and sad discoveries and you get to know what happened on and after that fateful night little by little. It helps you understand why Charlie hates Autumn so much and then why he manages to turn around and get to love her.

This audiobook is narrated in dual style by Gregory Salinas and Savannah Peachwood, whose performances suck you into the story. Gregory gives you an enraged, grief-stricken Charlie while slowly peeling away the layers of pain and guilt to show a softer, loving man capable of forgiveness and love. Savannah is amazing as the broken Autumn, who has been paying dearly for misdeeds that were not hers.

This book moved me. It’s got the Natasha touches: small town, healing, strong family bonds, a lot of passion, some tears and a heartwarming HEA.

Thanks for letting me read and listen to this early!
