Garrett and Olivia were THE couple in high school. That one that everyone thought would “go the distance”: they loved each other, had similar goals… But as if often happens, things didn’t go as they thought they would and we’re now ten years later. Garrett is a football star, but Liv opted out of being a professional cheerleader, became a lawyer, got married and divorced and they have been awkwardly avoiding each other ever since they broke up.

Now, Liv is back in town to take care of her mother and attend Garrett’s sister’s wedding. They decide they are both adults and they can try to be friends again, but the intense passion they’ve always felt for each other flares up and they spend one magical night together.

Liv goes back home and Garrett leaves for NYC. They might try this “civil friendship”after all. They both get the shock of their lives when Liv (who’s sure she’s unable to conceive) shows up in his Midtown penthouse with news of Garrett’s impeding fatherhood…

I longer how Tia Louise manages to keep things on the lighter side and makes us smile, even with the harder subjects. I’ve loved Garrett from book 1 and I knew the Grizzly Bradford would reveal himself as a cinnamon roll – and he is! As soon as they find out they are expecting, they become devoted to the little “fruit” and it’s really cute!

You get to catch up with all the Bradfords and you also get to take a peek at Hendrix’s story! He’s in for a surprise!

The audiobook is a delight. Narrated suet style by Samantha Brentmoor and Patrick Zeller, who make you root and cheer for this second chance romance from the start. I pressed play and didn’t stop until the end! Highly recommend!

Thanks, Tia, for the gift of the ebook and the audiobook!

Content notes: surprise pregnancy, mentions of infertility, child abandonment, cheating (not MCs), bullying and homophobia (secondary characters)
