Stay A Spell #2

Author: Juliette Cross

Isadora Savoie is not a people person. She feels more at ease with her plants in her greenhouse or with the animals she spends her time with at a local shelter. She is a Conduit witch, but she doesn’t feel her powers are that big, compared to her sisters’. She can’t really use telekinesis properly but she does have the wonderful power to heal.

Devraj Kumar in a vampire… and he’s kinda bored. The kind of boredom that comes to someone who has seen it all and done it all in his 300 years as a Stygorn (a legendary vampire warrior). He was even a Bollywood actor, for crying out loud! This boredom is taking its toll. He’s been there and done that and now all that is left is ennui.

Then, one day he literally runs into Isadora (like he runs her over with his fancy-shmancy imported car!). She is NOT impressed. But he is – oh he so is. And he can’t understand how she’s immune to his charms. Or so he thinks. 😉

Thrown together in all sorts of ways (they’re next door neighbors and they are working together in a case involving the kidnapping of human girls for nefarious purposes) and they can’t deny deny their attraction. But when his mission is over, will he stay?

Another 5 star read! It’s a little darker than the previous one (with the kidnapping and all) but it has hilarious moments involving incorrectly delivered packages, karaoke performances and really steamy moments (whodda thunk it that driving lessons could be so so swoony???). And please watch Say Anything if you haven’t. 😉

Another homerun for Juliette Cross! Highly recommend it!
