Stay a Spell #3

Author: Juliette Cross

Violet Savoie has a dream: to open her own tattoo shop that will cater to the supernaturals. Her tattoos will be extra special, because she is learning how to have a spell imbibed in the ink. Her business partner is Nico Cruz, a werewolf. He knows that this is a smart investment, but he has ulterior motives: Violet and Nico had a meet-cute of the steamy kind on a New Year’s Eve two years before and he knows they the two of them are fated to be together. So, he embarks on this business adventure with Violet with the hope that he will show her they belong together.

It’s been torture for Nico, because being so close to Violet is teasing the wolf inside. Little does he know is that Violet cannot shake that hot as sin encounter on New Year’s Day either… When Nico’s former pack shows up in town and his former best friend shows an interest in Violet, things start to get complicated. Will they finally find their way to each other?

This is my favorite of the books in this series so far! I loved this one so much that I finished it in one sitting! I absolutely adore Violet and Nico is the “redeemed bad boy” we all love… and he is a singer/songwriter. How swoony can you get??

I usually don’t like stories where the couple is secretly pining for each other for ages, but this is so sweet and funny and it made sense. You see, Nico is the “beast” but he is the sweetest in how alpha he is in relation to protecting and wooing his adored Violet. Violet is a kick-ass witch, who doesn’t need anyone to protect her, but who secretly swoons when Nico does.

I also love how there is a little bit of social commentary in this book: the supernatural world basically shuns werewolves, treating them as low class, beastly and violent beings and Violet (and now her family ) will have none of that! Go Violet!

I also loved how we keep up with all the stories from the previous books!

If you haven’t picked these books yet, please do! I guarantee you will love them!

I can’t wait for the next one!
