She’s also very attracted to the broody, dangerous and mysterious man like a moth to the flame. Soon, secrets from the past will come back to haunt them. Alex doesn’t have feelings for anyone, but for Ava he’ll burn the world.
Book #1 in the Twisted series, we get the morally gray hero and the sunshine heroine and they are sooo good together! As it happens to me with most “dark romances”, I tend to roll my eyes a little bit with the “villainy”, but it’s part of the fun – like a Bond movie. I couldn’t put it down even though (and if you are familiar with my reviews you know this about me) I guessed all the plot lines (believe me, I find it annoying, but can’t help it) and the “surprises” but they are GOOOOOD. It’s fun to read, it’s very well written, the pace is great (there is no lull in this story) and you just root for the sunshine girl to be able to melt the icy heart of our questionable hero. The side characters are all fun and can’t wait to read their stories! Amazing book!
