I went about these books completely out of order so when I got to Dylan and Audrey, I already knew they were happily together and everything. That didn’t take away from enjoying this duet at all! I loved seeing the adorable Audrey slowly carve her way through the Dylan’s walls and boy-oh-boy they are fire together!
Once more, I am reviewing these books as a unit. (If you are getting the audiobook, book 1 is included in book 2, so be aware of that.)
I loved their story! The age gap (something I am sometimes very icky about) makes perfect sense. Dylan’s ex-wife is also older than him, so it makes for an interesting dynamic. Their story is sweet, sexy and so romantic!
Narration: Carly Robbins is perfect choice for Audrey! She gives us that bubbly personality and a sort of naïveté that’s very Audrey and if you are a Shane East fan, you are in for a treat; dirty, sexy, British Dylan y’all!
Possible triggers: mentions of death of child and parents, secondary character is hospitalized with a life threatening condition, illness, mentions of aftermath of a difficult divorce
