Magnolia Falls #3

Author: Laura Pavlov

Narrators: CJ Bloom and Jason Clarke

Saylor and Kingston have a deep connection no one knows about. Since their teenage years, Kingston has been her protector but he can’t even contemplate what his real feelings are because she is off limits: she’s his best friend’s little sister. He managed to keep them in check while she was away at school, but now she’s back, opening her own business and she’s everywhere. When it becomes clear that his feelings are reciprocated, they cross the line. “Let’s get it out of our systems”, they say. But she makes him see a future he never envisioned and she can’t see can’t see anyone else in hers but him. Will their close-knit group, their found family, accept this change in the dynamics?

You know a book will hit all the feels when you are teary-eyed in the prologue. These two have loved each other even before they knew what it was.

If you have been reading the Magnolia Falls series, you know how loyal Kingston is to his “Ride or Die” family and how torn he’s been all these years. It’s touching to see him realize why he was a womanizer, a player. I love how passionate Saylor is and how she went after her dreams: Kingston and her bookstore. We do have the expected conflict when everyone finds out, but we have to trust the “Ride or Die” boys. The forbidden king deserves the dandelion.

Narrated dual style by CJ Bloom and Jason Clarke in a case of perfect casting. CJ has that sweet and sassy voice that is tailored for Saylor. Add in a tortured, loyal and completely devoted Kingston voiced by Jason and you are in for a treat!

I can’t wait to go back to Magnolia Falls! Thanks, Laura and Valentine PR for letting me visit it again early.
