Elliot is the Miles brother who is the head of the Miles Media offices in London. He is hot headed, seductive, all powerful, and AKA to the paparazzi as Casanova Miles. Kate Landon is the IT manager of the office and she’s had an intense dislike for the man since she started working at Miles media. Let’s just say the dislike is mutual. Kate also doesn’t cower when the wrath of Miles descends upon the office. She fights him right back.
One day, Elliot sees Kate through the security camera, wearing a red, athletic dress and dancing her little heart out. Oh boy, that is whole new Kate and a whole new feeling towards her. Kate is hot! Elliot can’t seem to get the image out of his head, and the thing is, the way he’s ben looking at her is making Kate feel all aflutter!
But when things are falling into place for them as a couple, Elliot makes a really stupid decision that jeopardizes everything that they have been building together as a couple.
Even though I (Little side note: I am the friend who royally screwed up The Sixth Sense to everyone watching with her because she figured out the plot twist 1/3 into the movie) was just expecting the ending to be exactly what it was, it was just BEAUTIFUL! Everything clicks together, giving Elliot (and us) the fairytale he wanted – with penpals, enchanted “castles” and farm animals.
I am still the ultimate bonafide, card carrying member of the Tristan Miles fan club, but Elliot (even though he can be an annoying hothead sometimes, believe me) is definitely book boyfriend material. And as Jenn, from The Book Refuge says, Jameson is still a dick! lol
