I was so blindsided by this one (naïve woman, look at the title! lol) in the best of ways! I usually don’t like the alphahole billionaire bully hero but Donovan Kincaid is one for the books!
This is book 1 in a duet and it sets up all the plot points for book 2 perfectly. I inhaled this one and went straight to book 2.
Yes, their relationship is complex. I’d even say it’s toxic and its dark elements may make some people uncomfortable, so take a peak at the trigger warnings. (Spoilerish)
