Thanks, @authorkatsingleton for the gifted ARC/ALC.

When Josie flees to her family’s Hamptons house to ‘fix’ her manuscript, she wants peace and quiet and no distractions. Her cat, Mouse, on the other hand, had other ideas. Her’s known too find a way of escaping to parts unknown and he finds her neighbor’s house.

Tyson has just bought this house literally sight unseen and he’s hoping the neighbor won’t be a problem. Well, he’s wrong because the beautiful romance writer looking for her Houdini cat that seems to take an immediate liking to him (the cat, not the lady) won’t leave his thoughts (the lady, not the cat). Well, Josie needs inspiration for her book! Ty is more than willing to volunteer as tribute and be a Muse.

If there is one thing you can count on cat Singleton is that you’ll swoon, smile and kick your feet with her stories. And for this audiobook, narrated in duet, you get the incomparable talents of Emma Wilder and Robert Hatchet. Emma’s voice is always evocative of warm, sweet heroines and her Josie is just like that. Plus, she gives us several female characters with very distinct voices. No surprise. Robert’s voice is also warm and (weird choice of word, I know) .. cozy, making this greenest of flags hero absolutely irresistible. He also rocks all the other numerous male characters. 10/10

What you get: a romance writer with a lack of romance in her book (and in her life)  a hotel tycoon billionaire who cooks and feeds the heroine, both are billionaires (refreshing!), a loving grandpa, a wandering cat, slow burn, small gestures that mean everything (chocolate cake slices in a box, honey lattes…), a supportive hero, home decorating sisters, Pembroke Hills brunches with stolen kisses, no third act nonsense and a lovely HEA!

I can’t wait for what Kat brings us next!

Content notes (including but not limited to): MMC has a litigious relationship with his father and no contact with mother. Secondary character is hospitalized with a stroke (recovers). Mentions of loss of parents and grandparent.
