She’s older, he’s single, and pretty soon the chemistry between them is impossible to resist.
Josh is emotionally unavailable for reasons he hasn’t shared even with his siblings. So when life throws them a major curve ball, they’ll have to face it together. Delia will have to guard her heart or Josh will have to open his.
Why oh why do I subject myself to this when I already know that Corinne Michaels is going to hurt me bad?! And boy did she hurt me! This book is way heavier in the issues it tackles than books 1 and 2, though the previous ones were definitely not a walk in the park either! But, again, Corinne knows what she is doing and you just face the pain and wait for Josh and Delia to get to their HEA.
And then, to make matters even worse, you add my favorite, talented @connorcrais and give him the (as I often call her) Meryl Streep of narration @offmicandi as partner. You just know you will have your heart broken, shattered on the floor, trampled by them, but in a very good way.
I strongly suggest you read the previous books before getting to this one because there’s a lot of backstory about the family that you just don’t want to miss. GREAT BOOK!
