It takes a LOT to get Fitz Silver off the island. He’s practically forced to go to a convention in Costa Rica by his well-meaning family. Little did he know that the Fates would intervene and he’d be surprised with Jennifer, the ‘one who got away’ at the resort’s reception. This has to be a sign. After a scorching time on Silver Island, he never thought he’d have another chance with her.

When Jennifer sees Fitz in Costa Rica of all places, she can’t believe her eyes. She’d been having trouble forgetting the handsome and adorable man and now he materializes in front of her!?! Well, a fling in a beautiful resort won’t hurt. Beautiful beaches, lazy afternoons, surfing lessons, learning to cook (sorta…)  and then goodbye. 

Well, until two pink lines appear on a stick.

Oh, Fitz! You made Jennifer cave and had me swooning bad. Accidental pregnancy books have to be written in a believable way in this day and age and Melissa nailed it!  Fitz behaves in the best way a woman can hope in these circumstances and Jennifer has everything to be feeling really overwhelmed after being thrown such an unexpected curve ball. 

What you get: a fling that refuses to stay a fling, an independent, guarded school principal who gets the rug pulled from under her feet; the best, most green flag hero she could expect to catch her, a beautiful Costa Rican getaway, Silver Island (I want to move there), family fun, supporting siblings, Little Bean, tiny New York apartments, furniture buying, helping troubled kids, and,  in true Melissa fashion, a wonderful HEA. 

As in all Melissa’s books, family is KEY and in this one in particular the families are absolutely wonderful. You also get to catch up with so many beloved characters! Always a treat! 

I can’t wait to go back to the island!
