Daphne and Jackson were teenage sweethearts, each other’s firsts in many ways, until Daphne reveals something to Jackson and he reacts poorly. That results in him leaving town, joining the military and they don’t see each other for years. 

But they’re meant to be together for many reasons – not only are they soulmates but they’re the last puzzle piece that needs to fit together in order for them to defeat the evil monster that has been haunting them for years. 

I have to say that you definitely have to listen to these in order because this one is pretty much the culmination of the story and ties all the loose ends. 

I love how they all get together to finally defeat the monster that’s tortured them all their lives. 
There is a lot of healing and love in this one (the romance takes a bit of a back seat , but they are fighting an epic battle, so it’s understandable) and some very important relationships and bonds are restored. 

This series is perfect if you like Nora Roberts’s witchy books, especially in the spooky season!

Narration in dual style again by the same team: Samantha Brentmoor, Lee Samuels and Jason Clarke. As in the previous books, they are amazing. Be prepared again to be scared by how creepy Jason Clarke makes the character sound! Keep the lights on!
